Fabric scrap wreath tutorial

I had set out in the beginning of summer to bust some of my ridiculous fabric stash... which didn't really happen. The summer FLEW by, and before I knew it I was back to school shopping (and doing a happy dance.)

So anyway, I forgot to share one of the fabric buster projects I actually did complete. Super simple, and can be made with any shade of fabric for different looks/seasons.

I just cut a ton of random spring/summer colored fabric into 1"x 3" strips. Then I just randomly tied them onto a wire wreath frame. I know I'm not the first person to do this, but I had to share. It cleared out a ton of my fabric scraps, some of which I was holding onto from high school!

Step 1: Cut fabric into strips.
Step 1.5- Let baby play with them to her little hearts desire.

Step 2: Systematically tie strips in no particular fabric order onto frame.

(Like so:)

Step 3: Add embellishments (bows, letters, etc)

Step 4: Hang. Piece of cake.

I hope you're all LOVING back to school... after you have one sulking day acknowledging how fast your littles are growing up.
